I am a self-employed artist and I personally create hand-painted acrylic portraits on Masonite or canvas. I mention this because there are portrait websites which sell computer-generated pet portraits, from client photos, which attempt to mimic an appearance of a painted portrait. Though I use photographs as a reference, the art is genuinely painted . I will provide the courteous, personalized service you need in order to ensure that you are delighted with your portrait. All portraits are framed to accentuate your pet. I am available to take the photograph of your pet (extra charge) or you can provide a good quality photo by email or snail mail.

Completion and delivery of my pet portraits
This typically occurs within two to four weeks after a portrait is ordered. Turnaround time can vary from this, however, depending on my current workload and the type of pet portrait requested.
An estimate of the completion time needed for each portrait is communicated to the client.
Ordering Information
If you would like me to create a custom portrait of your pet, please email with an idea of what you would like and what photos you may have. We can discuss sizes and background and I can give you a timetable of when your portrait will be completed. Turnaround time is usually 3 to 4 weeks but if there is a special occasion coming up sooner, we can discuss that also. After we agree on a size and completion date, I will ask for a 50% deposit. When your portrait is completed, I will ship it to you via the United States Postal Service (add $15.00 shipping and handling).
